End of Quarter Assignment
The end of quarter assignment will consist of 3 pieces.
1. A paper that discusses the 3 major theories of the evolution of Modern Human. This is a position paper so it requires:
A. A description of each of the theories.
B. the strength and weaknesses of each theory.
C.A discussion of which theory you believe is correct and a description of why you believe this to be correct. You must have supportive statements that link the process of evolution, data from archaeological or genetic evidence to support your claim.
( you did the bulk of this in your blog post several weeks ago)
2. A graphic that shows the major archaeological and or genetic discoveries that are important in our understanding of human evolution. This could be something like a map, a timeline, an evolutionary tree... the exact product is up to you.
3. A presentation (approximately 7 to 10 min in length) Using both your paper and your graphic. This could be something like a PowerPoint or a poster. The goal of the last part of this assignment is to combine your paper and your graphic. Ideally the images and text you use for this part of the presentation will come from your graphic and your paper.
